- PrestaShop 1.7 has not been maintained since June 2025 and does not run beyond PHP 7.4, itself without fixes since 2022.
- The target is PrestaShop 9.2, released on 30 September 2026; 8.2 only receives security fixes, until PrestaShop 10 is released.
- Going from 1.7 to 9 is one project, but two updates: first to 8.2, then to 9.

How to secure a website: why 100% secure does not exist, and what really works
No website is 100% secure. What really reduces the risk: fast updates, tested backups, controlled access and monitoring. A developer’s point of view.
Frequently asked questions
What is this blog about?
Practical topics for small and medium businesses: PrestaShop stores (migration to PrestaShop 8 or 9, modules), website security and maintenance, custom CRM, AI and automation. Each article gives real figures, steps and prices rather than generalities.
How often do you publish?
The goal is two articles per month. The blog RSS feed lets you follow new posts without coming back to the site.
An article describes my problem: can you fix it for me?
Yes. The blog topics are the ones I deal with every day: an express audit at €290 excl. VAT takes stock of your website before any work starts, and the prices of each service are displayed.
