Why WordPress for a showcase website

WordPress powers more than 40% of the world’s websites: you will always find someone to take it over, and you edit your own text. WordPress is the most widespread tool for building a website. You change your texts and photos with no technical knowledge, many providers know it, and you are never locked into a platform: the site and its content belong to you.

How the build works

I lay out your website with Elementor, from a template chosen together or from your graphic designer’s designs. No development starts before you approve the design in writing. You then follow the build on a test site, after which I launch it and train you for one hour.

How much does a showcase website cost?

A 5-page showcase website starts at €1,490 excl. VAT: contact form protected against spam, technical SEO basics, cookie banner, training and a 30-day warranty. Extra pages or special features are quoted individually. Texts, photos and logo are to be supplied by you. The Elementor Pro licence comes on top: about €60 per year, in your name. After launch

A WordPress site must be updated to stay safe. Essential maintenance at €49 excl. VAT per month takes care of it: checked updates, daily backups, monitoring.

Working with a freelancer based in France

I work from Perpignan, in the south of France, and carry out projects on video calls with clients in France and abroad. Written communication and documents are in English or French, as you prefer.

How long does it take to build a showcase website?

Usually a few weeks after all your content has been received. The quote gives an estimate: it is not a commitment, but I do my best to meet it. It also depends on your feedback: content, approvals, tests.

Will my site rank well?

The technical foundation is laid at creation: tags, clean URLs, sitemap, speed. Visibility then also depends on your content and your Google Business Profile.
