First website for a premium packaging company, in French and English: designed, built and launched in one day, scoring 100/100 for SEO and accessibility.
The problem
JCLK Packaging designs custom metal packaging: gift boxes, tins, limited editions and event packaging, for spirits, food and retail brands. A brand-new company, it had no website. It needed a showcase worthy of its high-end products, readable by customers abroad, fast, safe, and requiring no daily upkeep.
What I did
- A static site chosen rather than a WordPress site: pages that are already built, so very fast, with no database or plugins to update, and almost nothing for a hacker to attack
- Design faithful to the client’s brand guidelines, on a dark background to showcase the product photos
- Complete site in French and English, legal pages included
- Images converted automatically to WebP and AVIF, fonts hosted on the server: no third-party service, no cookie
- Contact form with anti-spam that needs no outside service (a small calculation to solve and a limit on the number of submissions) and messages sent through a professional email service
- SEO and visibility in AI search engines from the start: structured data, sitemap, llms.txt file, security headers
