PrestaShop 1.6 store migrated to PrestaShop 8.2, new design and a dozen custom modules to showcase the creations and make booking appointments easier. Maintenance since 2022.
The problem
Soann is a designer jeweller in Paris: engagement rings, wedding bands and made-to-measure jewellery, crafted in his workshop. The SEO agency seo.fr put me in touch with him in 2022. His store was still running on PrestaShop 1.6, a version that is no longer maintained, and it was slow. The goal: present the creations better, in particular the engagement rings, get more appointments at the workshop and gain visibility on Google.
What I did
- Migration from PrestaShop 1.6 to PrestaShop 8.2, with products, customers and orders carried over
- Integration of the new design created by a UX/UI designer, in a child theme
- Development of a dozen custom PrestaShop modules: menu, home page editable from the back office, Collections, The House, Personalisation and Gemstones pages, FAQ, footer, product tabs
- Creation of the blog “Le Journal” and of pages about gemstones, for search ranking
- Online appointment booking with the workshop
- Store maintenance and support for the team in using the site

- A store on a maintained PrestaShop version, and faster
- Content that Soann edits on his own from the back office, with no developer
- Step-by-step support for a team that is not technical
