Custom business software that replaces scattered tools and loose sheets of paper: 3,700 bookings and 3,200 mission orders managed since June 2024.
The problem
After the redesign of its website, Parismatic Tour entrusted a second project to me. The agency managed its bookings, guides, vehicles and entrance tickets with several scattered tools, and often on loose sheets of paper. The main problem was lost time. No software on the market fitted the way it works: so I developed a custom tool.
What I did
- Complete design and development of a custom CRM in Symfony, used every day by the office team
- Bookings per tour and per partner (agencies, platforms, hotels), with their rates
- Scheduling as a calendar, with availability rules for guides and vehicles, the most complex part of the project
- Mission orders as PDFs sent automatically to the guides by email
- Ticketing: entrance tickets (Louvre, Versailles…) bought in advance and assigned to bookings
- Management of vehicles, hotels, pick-up points, customers and invoices
- Dashboard with indicators, year filter and charts
- Application maintenance since launch: a schedule change is reflected in the mission orders, vehicle overlaps are detected, email sending has been made reliable
Results
- 3,725 bookings managed since June 2024, including 1,699 in 2025
- 3,227 mission orders generated automatically
- 52 guides, 47 tours and 23 partners in a single tool
- A huge time saving and better organisation of work
- Project delivered in about 4 months, in 2024
